The Birds<\/em> Movie Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Birds<\/em> begins with an innocent love triangle between rich, spoilt Melanie Daniels (Tippi Hedren<\/strong>), attractive Mitch Brenner (Rod Taylor<\/strong>), and schoolteacher Annie Hayworth (Suzanne Pleshette<\/strong>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The human story starts in a pet store in San Francisco. It ends in Mitch’s mother’s (Jessica Tandy<\/strong>) house in Bodega Bay, where the peculiar behavior of the local birds gradually destroys the protagonists’ sense of security. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It first is little more than a seagull flying above and picking at Melanie’s head. Things get pretty unpleasant when a large flock of birds gathers at a children’s party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
