Blazing Saddles Steelbook (4K, Blu-ray)
Ribald, irreverent, and utterly hilarious, this classic Western spoof from director Mel Brooks, Blazing Saddles, lampoons the genre with its sharp humor. A corrupt governor offers a reprieve to an African American convict, provided he agrees to become the sheriff of a small Western town, under the assumption that the new sheriff won’t last long and will serve the governor’s and his crooked railroad-baron ally’s interests.
However, the situation quickly spirals into comedic chaos as the sheriff challenges the expectations of everyone around him. The film fearlessly pokes fun at stereotypes and conventions, delivering laughs while critiquing social norms.
