Hostel (2005) follows three backpackers across Europe who take a stranger’s tip about a hostel stocked with beautiful women, only to walk into something far more sinister than a good time.
Hostel II (2007) runs a similar trap with a group of college women, lured by a seductive local into the same industrial nightmare. These films defined the mid-2000s wave of extreme horror, and they still cut deep for viewers who can stomach them.
