Barbarian arrives as a limited edition steelbook on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray. The setup sounds ordinary: a young woman travels to Detroit for a job interview and finds her rental home already occupied by a stranger who claims the same booking.
She stays the night anyway, and that decision opens the door to something far worse than an awkward double-booking. Saying more would spoil it, because the film’s power comes from how sharply it swerves from its own premise. Zach Cregger’s 2022 debut earned its reputation by refusing to go where you expect.
